In the flyover states the yellow ribbons and "Support our Troops" are in evidence, the response to an enquiry about Cindy Sheehan is a shrug and something to the effect that if Casey was alive, he'd be turning in his grave.
If this is the heartland that Dubya is relying on, he has no need to worry...just yet.
