Europes oldest reigning monarchy have just produced their latest prince and future king, the product of Crown Prince Frederik and his Tasmanian beauty Mary Donaldsen . The prince (who arrived 2 weeks early) will traditionally be named Christian or Frederick, the prince was 51 centimeters long and weighed 3.5 kilograms.
This evening, the Danish Home Guard will officiate as some 350 bonfires are lit across the country – no doubt some of the Carlsberg special “Elephant” ale (Alc. Vol. 9%) will be drunk.
