John Howard Amundsen, 40, the Brisbane teacher at whose home the Police found 53 Kilos of Powergel explosive with some fashioned into prinitve nail / razor bombs has been charged with fraud and refused bail. It is alleged he obtained the explosives by using false identification.
Apparently he lives alone with his mother and had been acting strangely, pacing about with rubber gloves on in the street, carrying barrels into his house... and "marching up and down".
