It is the end of the Year - is it the end of Civilisation ?(as we know it)

Benazir Bhutto murdered at the second attempt ... and Dame Lady Jane Baroness Pauline Neville Jones hasn't uttered a word, been seen on any TV screen in the Western world, nor writen any articles, been quoted .......

Or, a more sinister thought ..... Has there been a coup in the BBC newsroom ?
