Lord Patel had to pass up on "Engaging with Religion for Building Peace: The Experience of Afghanistan and Iraq" A One Day Conference, Co-sponsored by the RMAS Academic Faculty and the British International Studies Association Working Group on International Relations, Security and Religion, at the Old College, RMAS, 20 November 2007 ...even though invited by his old chum the Commandant of FMAS , Major General D J Rutherford-Jones , from the old times in 15th /19th Hussars.

Perhaps they meant this sort of Hearts and Minds sort of stuff ...



Bet they had a whale of a time.
