Bührle collection thieves go for the Monet

The The art collection of Emil Georg Bührle (1890-1956), a Zurich industrialist, is among the most important 20th-century private collections of European art.

Vincent van Gogh Entstanden 1890 in Auvers-sur-Oise, De la Faille 820.

Poppies near Vétheuil
Oil on canvas. 71.5 x 90.5 cm.
Claude Monet, Painted around 1880.
