Is Jack Straw really ill ?
Rumours have been rife in Blackburn since Straw apparently cut short a "soap box" session (being filmed by BBC) and hurried away in a van with tinted windows. He has looked increasingly strained recently. Tense, slightly trembling and in public on the hoof evidently a haunted man. Haunted by worries over;
1. The lies over Saddam's WMD. (CIA admits today there never were any)
2. The lies of the Goverment over the illegal invasion of Iraq.
3. The catastrophic admission that he knew in January last year of the Mark Thatcher financed invasion of New Guinea.
Grey, tired, old, ill, depressed?
4. The lies leaked about his Blackburn opponent Craig Murray, who he wanted to sack but couldn't. Now his nemesis in Blackburn.
5. The lies over the Attorney general's advice.
6. The shambles of new legislation on Terror after the Belmarsh Gulag was dramatically shut down.
7. The, persistent lies abut inoccent people and deceit and reliance on torture of the only witnessin a foreign country, against the so called "Ricin plotters" who were all let free after 2 years in jail.
Add to this the legacy of lies about Pinochet, family problems, just sheer age, his relationship with a powerful and tyrannical bully for a boss. It is not difficult to believe that he exhibits signs of depression and mild psychosis, Delusions (irrational thoughts and fears).Psychotically depressed people can become paranoid or come to believe that their thoughts are not their own - see his terribly, feeble, interview with John Humphries onm "Tofay" in today's Independent. When he isn't mumbling, and "erring" and "ahing" he is trying to blame others - classic "thought broadcasting" of a depressive. Meanwhile the Press are rushing to Blackburn to cover the story of Straw's problems in handling the pressure.
Interestingly on On November 6th, 2001 , Jack Straw, reportedly denounced Osama Bin Laden: "He is obviously psychotic and paranoid as well ... a key characteristic of people who are psychotic and paranoid is their sense of complete detachment from the sufferings of others."
Straw demonstrates exactly the same lack of concern about the torture victims of the US militia, at Guantanamo Bay, Bagram, Diego Garcia, Uzbekistan and who knows where else on the Planet. Tit for Tat ?
