UK Troops beasting Iraqis caught on video

The News of the World, the most scatalogical of Rupe's rags makes available 3 minutes 12 seconds of a longer sequence of hand held video which contains other scenes of military nastiness . The section of video available on the NOW site, is said to be 2 years old and shows unidentified UK troops led by a seargeant in a military compound in South Iraq kicking the shit out of some Iraqi youths that have been snatched from some sort of street protest.

The Independent on Sunday says in it's pompous way ...

"An amateur video that appears to show British soldiers abusing Iraqi prisoners is being investigated by military police this weekend.

Video footage of soldiers apparently head-butting, punching and kicking prisoners in the genitals while held in a secure military compound is being studied by the Royal Military Police after the existence of the tape was exposed by the News of the World."

"Appears to show" ..."Apparently" ... the Independent's Jonathan Thompson must have had limited experience of late night punch ups which this this resembled ..egged on by the shouted encouragement of the youthful and excited camera operator.

"We do not publish this disturbing material in haste but with regret" says the NOW but then asks ex SAS Chris Ryan to detail in an article another sequence from the shock video, accompanied by freeze frame photos, where an Iraqi corpse is held up and flaunted as a trophy. The cameraman then delivers what Iraqis consider the most humiliating act possible, in death or life - he kicks him in the face. Not just once, but TWICE. As the head of the dead man, aged in his 20s, is lifted up to face the camera a soldier is heard to snigger. "He's been a bad motherfucker"

We will no doubt be treated to the TV media interviewing Tim Collins who will tell us how unusual this is, how highly trained, bad eggs, bad apples, rotten to the corps....

One might be forgiven for thinking that it was on someone's agenda to feed the fires of revolting Islam.
