No 10's Iran Dossier on the way ... Google to rescue
Writely developed by Upstartle as a web based word processor / text editor has been acquired by Google.
Registration has stopped whilst integration with Google takes place. Users will be able to :
* Upload Word documents, OpenOffice, RTF, HTML or text (or create documents from scratch).
* Use a simple WYSIWYG editor to format your documents, spell-check them, etc.
* Invite others to share your documents (by e-mail address).
* Edit documents online with whoever you choose.
* View your documents' revision history and roll back to any version.
* Publish documents online to the world, or to just who you choose.
* Download documents to your desktop as Word, OpenOffice, RTF, PDF*, HTML or zip.
* Post your documents to your blog.
This sounds ideal for the No 10 Based Dodgy Dossier preparation department (Prop A Campbell - see pic in editing mode). However Big Al had better take care of Sec. 58 of the Terrism Act.... about possessing things that terrists might want to use ... Plod has got his size 11l's down to the floor on this at the moment.
