Berlusconi reaches for the Hearts and Minds

Nur al Cubicle in a characteristically learned post identifies the new voice of dissent on the Italian Street, Berlusconi has remarked in his infantile fashion that people who don't vote for him are coglione - assholes. (Although I thought a Coglione d'oro meant Golden Balls)

A result is a Website claiming I am an Asshole Io Sono Un Coglione website (in Italian)

Corriere della Sera also have a photogallery of young attractive Italian (?) ladies bearing the slogan and looking very jolly.

PS Just in case the lawyers are reading - coglione is NOT a reference to David Mills AKA Mr Tessa Jowell - or indeed any of his spaghetti munching friends.

Well, you're right, PP. Coglione does refer to testicles...But "ball head" doesn't convey quite the right meaning.

"Golden Balls" has a particular resonance here in Limey land, the satirical Magazine "Private Eye" frequently awards, (generally annually,) but when they feel like it, the "Golden Balls" awards for the "Most adulterous MP", the "Stupidest MP's Question" etc.,
