Oz girl makes good in Denmark

The official portrait of Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth, painted by Australian artist Ralph Heimans and unveiled last night at Frederiksborg Castle.

The Princess has a Scottish father and mother and was born in Australia, she is a Knight of the Order of the Elephant (R.E.).and speaks English and Danish.

In 2002 The Crown Princess moved to Denmark and was employed by Microsoft Business Solutions as a Project Consultant for business development, communications and marketing.

On 14 May 2004, on the occasion of her marriage to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, she became Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.

She is a member of Aabenraa Golf Club, Copenhagen Golf Club , Fredensborg Golf Club, Furesø Golf Club and Odsherred Golf Club
