Tzipi beats up support for her Premiership bid
Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, housewife and mother, had a busy day today in New York meeting Senator and presidential hopeful Senator Hillary Clinton, after intensive discussions with United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan.
Tzipi flew to the United States to put forward Israel's case concerning the United Nations Security Council ceasefire resolution. She was due to arrive on Saturday but put off clearing her trip with Ehud Olmert until 3 hours befoire her departure. He explained that she would be trapped by pro-Arab elements and cancelled the trip.
No further details of what she has beenn talking about, or who else she may meet have been released.
