Kim Howells and UK Gunboat Diplomacy - the firm smack of Gubment

Today Foreign Office Minister, Kim Howells MP, Minister responsible for Middle
East issues, voiced his concern at the recent deaths of civilians in Gaza.

He said:

"We are concerned by reports of the death of a number of Palestinians,
including two children, on 12 and 13 October, as a result of Israeli military
actions in Gaza. Israel is entitled to defend itself from rocket fire, but
any response should be proportionate, in accordance with international law
and seek to avoid civilian casualties."
