Saddam killed like Jesus
Saddam Hussein' was, like Jesus, after a controversial trial finally killed with two other criminals - on the eve of the Eid al-Adha, the Feast of the Sacrifice, the moment of greatest forgiveness in the Arab world ;
Barzan al-Tikriti his half-brother and former Iraqi intelligence chief (Mukhabarat) and former representative to the UN.
"BARZAN AL-TIKRITI personally tortured them, pulling out their nails, administering electric shocks, stretching their limbs apart, throwing boiling water over them, and using electric cables to beat them. BARZAN AL-TIKRITI was also present when the British journalist FARZAD BARZOFT was executed."
Awad Hamed al-Bandar , a lawyer, was the former head of the Iraqi revolutionary court which issued death sentences against 143 Dujail residents, in the aftermath of the failed assassination attempt on the President on 8th July 1982.
On 3 December 2006, the defence team lodged an appeal against the verdicts for Saddam Hussein, Awad Hamed Al-Bander and Barzan Ibrahim Al-Tikriti, who had been sentenced to death.
On 26 December 2006, the High Tribunal Court which has a nine-member appeals chamber confirmed the death sentences.
