Flour Power jury still out
Muktar Said Ibrahim, 29, of Stoke Newington, north London, Yassin Omar, 26, of New Southgate, north London, Hussain Osman, 28, of no fixed address (he's the one who Met sharpshooters put 13 bullets into / through the head of a Brazilian electrician at Stockwell tube in a case of mistaken identity on 22/7) , Ramzi Mohammed, 25, of North Kensington, west London, Manfo Kwaku Asiedu, 34, of no fixed address, and Adel Yahya, 24, of High Road, Tottenham, north London are on trial at Woolwich Crown Court and the jury commence their 6th day of consideration of the verdicts today.
6 men were accused of taking part in a plot to carry out a series of suicide bombings on the London transport system two weeks after 7/7. Charges for causing explosions have been dropped but they remain charged with conspiracy to murder.
All six defendants deny conspiracy to murder;
4 claim the hydrogen peroxide and chapatti flour rucksack devices were a hoax
1 claims they were real bombs but that he was duped
1 denies having anything to do with the alleged conspiracy.
