UK Forces Lose it in Basra
Daily Telegraph report ... "The British have basically been defeated in the south," the intelligence official told the Washington Post.
The newspaper quoted from one think tank report that said the legacy of British rule in Basra was: "the systematic misuse of official institutions, political assassinations, tribal vendettas, neighbourhood vigilantism and enforcement of social mores, together with the rise of criminal mafias."
This has absolutely , totally, completely, nothing to do with the activities of these two guys and their rescue General (Hero 2 face) Jackson of Basra "Let me make it clear that it was important to retrieve those two soldiers. The British Army looks after its own.” (Times, 12 Oct 2005)
"The British Army looks after its own" , demolishing a jail, releasing prisoners, and killing Police in the process. .. and er .. repeating the process again earlier this year but they took prisoners then ..... about whom we have heard nothing since.
NO. never. Certainly Not
..absolutely , totally, completely, nothing to do with those guys ...
