Vista - a wasted vision

So says the Daily Telegraph today - based on our experience you would be wise not to touch Vista with a very, very lengthy bargepole - or even someone else's. Whilst frequent crashes add variety to a busy day, the loss of open windows - standard fare to an XP user - simply happens. The increase in coffee consumption whilst waiting to re-boot probably isn't helpful either.

Probably the most entertaining problem Vista has presented was re-installing the superb and much used HP 5590 Scanner - a mere two months. The cause was that the Internet Exploreer 7 ( a FREE Bonus bundled in with Vista !) causes the HP software to fail to display on the screen - resulting when invoking the HP software that nothing apparently happened. If you have this problem the solution is here.

As a disciple of Bill Gates and commercial user / supplier of every Microsoft product since their first BASIC it is a considered view that Vista is a bag of shite. Period.
