Ford, Wrangler, The Queen and Prince Philip encourage animal torture - don't support them in this barbaric spectacle
Lord Macauley said the Puritans forbade bear baiting, not because it gave pain to the bear , but because it gave pleasure to the spectators. We haven't advanced since then , as this picture from Reuters shows, of bullrider Valdiron De Oliveira winning the Professional Bull Rider Invitational (2nd event in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round -SPONSOR: Ford Motor Company, 16800 Executive Drive, Dearborn, MI 48126.) at Madison Square Garden in New York on January 6, 2008 - his first win in the event sponsored by Wrangler Jeans (Vanity Fair) earning US$31,400.
You can see just behind the riders saddle the tight and narrow cinch belt which traps the poor bulls bollocks - which explains the reason for the bulls wild behaviour.
“It was really fun for everyone,” said the Professional Bull Rider’s Livestock Director, Cody Lambert.
When in Calgary, Canada, HM the Queen, a great horse lover and Patron of the Royal Society for the Protection of Animals, accompanied by her husband the President of the World Wild Life Fund , enjoyed watching the equivalent bucking bronco riders at their famous annual Stampede.
There is little more disgusting than humans obtaining their enjoyment from the torture and killing of animals, whether tame or wild for their enjoyment.
