More curious legal decisions Part 104

An investigation is under way into why the Metropolitan police inspector Garry Weddell, 47,was freed despite being accused of strangling his wife and faking her suicide.

Weddell is thought to have shot himself in a field on Saturday after killing his mother-in-law, Traute Maxfield, who was due to give evidence against him.........

A 17 year old with no insurance or licence (who cannot be named) has avoided any criminal charges after crashing into OAP Mrs Draper and her unemployed husband in their car on a Lincolnshire winding country road. Their car was a a write off.

The young driver was racing another youth , he was speeding and was on the wrong side of the road and offered a cash settlement to settle matters without reference to the Police. See BBC Video Here.

Probably no worse than a decision not to prosecute when Lord Levy, Ms. Ruth Turner, Tony Blair and many others too numerous to mention repeatedly told bare face lies about the purchase of honours in exchange for contributions to the Nu Labour Party to fund the 2005 General Election campaign.... and obstructed the Police investigation in every way possible.
