9/11 The lies persist. Debunking the debunkers
The US Government maintains a website that aids the citizen in identifying misinformation and which aims to correct such misinformation.
It has a section entitled Loose Change Debunked - "perhaps the most popular September 11 conspiracy-theory video,"
The Introduction to the Photo Gallery accompanying the article contains this assertion :
At 9:12, passenger Renee May called her mother to report that the plane had been hijacked. Shortly afterwards, passenger Barbara Olson called her husband, U.S. Solicitor General Ted Olson, with the same news.
Such telephonic communications were in 2001 , in 2 words, Im Possible. Despite the telephone in the Smithsonian that is displayed and is claimed to be the phone that Ted Olsen received the call on - such an assertion of telephone calls being successfully made using mobile phones has no truth whatever, it is a lie. If Barbara Olsen made a collect call or a card charged call on a Verizon phone - and none were installed on American Airlines Boeing 757's at the time - no record of that supposedly 20 minute call have been produced in evidence.*
The claim that these phone calls happened is a lie, it is not a mistake, a misunderstanding, nobody has "mis-spoke" it is a deliberate lie told by the Government.

Now Boeing 737's are massive lumps of metal, their 4 engines are made of some of the toughest, most heat resistant materials man has ever made. This massive passenger plane was said to be travelling at 530 miles per hour was seen to clip the kerb with its, huge engine . Rational, simplistic judgement , non engineering judgement suggests that those cable reels might well have taken a hit as well.
As to the survivability of a modern jet engine , just having clipped a kerb, - each of whose parts are directly traceable - in what appears to have a been a brief and low temperature fire - Most engineers would put it solidly around 100%. Yet both engines have disappeared, and all the rest of the Boeing 737 Flight 77.... although remarkably the passenger's DNA survived the holocaust to be identified preciseley , but not a single piece of a titanium jet engine rotor blade.
Someone is not telling the truth.
*In 2006 at the show trial of mentally confused Zacarias Moussaoui, in its report on American Flight 77, the FBI report attributed only one call to Barbara Olson and it was an "unconnected call," which lasted "0 seconds."

Sorry to be a smartarse.
Only two engines on a Boeing 737 (100 to 900 series).
The only Boeing passenger jets with 4 engines are the 707 (obsolete) and 747.
Boeings with 3 engines are the 727 and the MD11 (not really a Boeing).
Two engines for the rest (including the carbon-fibre nightmareliner).
Thnx. Others have gently reminded us of this deliberate mistake to enure that folks out there are keeping a lert.
Never know when a lert is needed.
Difficult to determine which will run out first, delivery dates for the 787 or oil.

A private Pilot tests cell phone performace up to 8000 feet. Any Idea of the altitude of the Hijacked planes at times the cell phone calls were made?
