McClellan - Lies , Damned lies and White House Press Secretaries with blood on their hands

Much excitement greets the publication by the repellant former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan of his book "What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington’s Culture of Deception," Amazon

"Bush he says, "signed off on a strategy for selling the war that was less than candid and honest.” A strategy absorbed hook line and sinker, by every Western leader and Government , and assiduoulsy peddled for years in the MSM. Well up to a point Lord Copper.

On February 26, 2003 Counterpunch published an An Open Letter to Tony Blair - this was also sent directly to every single UK MP. inter alia it said .." As everyone knows, Saddam has no weapons of mass destruction (i.e gas, biological , nor the means of delivery outside Iraq) all military forces in NATO and UN also know such weapons have limited lethality or use in the battlefield.

Iraq has not and is unlikely to have nuclear weapons or means of delivery in the foreseeable future.

Not a single MP replied to the author.

Weeks later the war criminals launched their troops in a massive, and ilegal invasion equipped with bulky, useless and unecessary MBC suits with superb theatricality, whose exploits were despatched round the world to be hoovered up by an incurious and obedient Press and served pre-digested for the tax payers by the likes of puffy, adolescent McClellan.
