Shoes hurled at President Bush as he departs Iraq - President Nouri Kamel al-Maliki unmoved
At a press conference marking the end of President Bush's visit to Iraq , a clearly enraged Muntadar al-Zeidi, a correspondent for Iraqi-owned Al-Baghdadiya television based in Egypt, shouted "this is the end" and forcefully threw both his shoes at President Bush as he effctively ducked and they flew past him. The impassive President Maliki looked calmly on as his guest was insulted and offended as deeply and with as much humiliation is possible, without stabbing the bastard there and then. Great fun.

When the statue of saddam Hussein was knocked down in Firdos Square the crowd beat it with their shoes. This is an Arab . Sufi / Muslim custom of "cleansing" and is a gesture of utter contempt and disrespect. - the beaten thing is below the lowest part of the body - the foot and therefore an extreme insult.... don't expect Dubya to understand that ... and don't expect anyone to tell him either.

He applied for and received a spanking brand new British passport which was issued on 7 December 2001 which he used to board Flight 63.

Brother Abdul, Brixton boy who became seeker of terrorist targets
Richard Reid, the British terrorist now known to the world as the shoe bomber.
It is hard to believe the former petty crook from south London could have risen to such a lofty role in the most notorious terrorist group.
Ten years earlier, Reid had been a Brixton teenager remarkable only for his towering physique - he is 6ft 4in - and convictions for muggings and car thefts. A chance meeting with Islamic extremists in jail and then at a local mosque had turned him into a religious convert with a convert's zeal. Of mixed race, Richard Colvin Reid was born in Bromley, south east London, in 1973.
His father Robin, a Londoner of Jamaican roots, and his mother Lesley, the daughter of an accountant and magistrate from the North East, had married a year before in Poplar, east London. Reid's parents separated when he was four and divorced when he was 11. Enrolled at Church of England and Roman Catholic schools in south London, he hardly ever attended. He spent his days on the streets stealing cars and money.
Convicted on numerous occasions, he spent time in the Feltham Young Offender Institution, west London. It was here that he was introduced to the Islamic faith and he continued his studies at Brixton Mosque on his release.
It was infiltrated with [Mi5] extremists looking for impressionable young men to convert to their cause.
Soon he was making trips to the Middle East and Pakistan where it is believed he attended an al-Qa'eda training camp and was groomed to become Abdul Ra'uff.
He had always claimed to have worked alone but the CD-rom file found in Afghanistan suggested otherwise. In the guise of Brother Abdul he reconnoitred Holland, America, Israel, Egypt, Turkey and Pakistan, in July 2001.

Commentators have suggested he may have used some of these excursions to test the security arrangements on various airlines, before boarding American Airlines flight 63 from Paris to Miami on 22 December, 2001.
What he did not realise was that he had been followed by Israeli intelligence from the time he boarded the El Al flight at Amsterdam's Schipol airport.
They did not pass on their suspicions to western agencies. But airline staff in Paris also had their suspicions about the scruffy passenger who paid cash for his flight to Miami.

His account of how he bought a lump of plastic explosive from a far-Right group for 1,000 pounds in Amsterdam and fashioned it into the sole of his black suede baseball boot is ridiculed by European investigators who have spoken to some of his former associates.
He has never explained how he was able to finance his trips around the world. He has had only part-time jobs such as washing dishes in restaurants and yet he paid cash for airline tickets and hotels.

Where did Richard Reid get his facilitation from? - therein lies the key to all of this fabricated terror nonsense...
