LDV / GAZ - no money from Lord Mandelbum, ECB or Prudent Gordon . LDV demise predicted 2 1/2 years ago

This is what we posted 2 1/2 years ago about LDV - again foreseeing what was in store for Solihull and the West Midlands.. after today's announcement was made by BERR that no money was available unless parent company GAZ stumped up some roubles .... which isn't about to happen any time real soon.
--------------------
Monday, July 31, 2006 GAZ takes 100% of LDV - last UK motor business to be sold off

Lord Patel told you that Russian auto manufacturer GAZ Group were to buy the last motor manufacturing business in the UK, the van maker LDV 4 weeks ago from Sun Capital.

US bankers sell off last of UK vehicle manufacturing to Russians

GAZ Group was established in 2005, after RusPromAvto restructured its production assets and now owns 100% of LDV.

Based in the central Russian city of Niznhy Novgorod, GAZ supplies vehicles to 29 countries in the former Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East. GAZ produces about 200,000 vehicles a year.

Will the last person leaving Solihull please switch the light off.

------------------------

LDV make an antique van (or rather haven't since December 4th) , there has been not design development, product improvement, or plant investment since Mr Deripraska took control.

The talk of new green energy / electric vehicle is total bollocks. There is no way any public money should be should be thrown at this relic..."LDV is planning to introduce the world’s first electric light commercial vehicle from a volume manufacturer in 2009. Please see below for the latest information." another lead/ acid battery/ electric motor train , 85 miles range 4 hours 3 phase re-charge.

No surprise if this isn't a piece with the Scandinavian purchase of the Post Office (big LDV users ( Why ?) which Lord Mandlebum is intent on re-structuring, downsizing and ruining in the procss.

The massive shifts in liabilities ,asset re-valuations and dramatic moves in public policy are still unfolding.

These actions will require, not merely a change of "banking culture" but huge step changes in ;

1 Unemployment
2 Welfare provision / pension / health / social services

The ground has been prepared assiduously , well in advance to identify resistance, emasculate organised revolt and provde a framework of control.

Interestingly tonight pictures on BBC TV News of the Gantanamo escapee as he arrived as a a VIP had been blurred lest anyone accuse the BBC of "eliciting" information of use to terrists ... shades of actors speaking Gerry Adams and Martin Mc Guinness having their words spoken for them.

Already it has been said that the UK State's liabilities = GDP for one year.

The sort of indebtedness that in the past has sustained major world wars - the effects cannot in the end be any less severe.

The marchers in Dublin were said to number 125,000 the equivalent with their 6 Mn population of the Iraq March being 3.5 Mn.

That is why the unholy alliance of very frightened seior politicians are hanging together.

We live in interesting times and the Telegraph article is merely identifying the start of the beginning.

Geithner and Summers (and the rest of the AIPAC gang no doubt)sat down with their Enquiry into the US motor industry today.

One effect is that closure of GM in Europe , only just begun with SAAB and Vauxhall to follow will be one major consequence... Opel ?

Steinbrunner is not going to shed tears if they go.

We have 25 / 30 years folly of fraud, de-regulation, and converting our capital base in ther UK into the fruits of global manufacture.

It was great fun whilst it lasted.

The party is over for most of us.

Not necessarily. I think it'll be quite fun demonstrating and rioting and burning effigies of Blair, Bush, Gordon etc A big fireworks parties all the time.
Although the repressive measures have been put in place over the years for the express purpose of dealing with the aftermath of economic mayhem, these measures are untested. The wrath of the people is untested. Once British people are aroused anything goes and once they've lost everything they won't care what they do or where they end up even if it's in Belmarsh for 28 days where at least they might be fed.

I'm just getting weary of seeing the words "Anonymous" and "tinyurl" where I might have hoped to find some "Comment".

Is this part of a NWO conspiracy to stifle discussion through boredom?? Or is it a reflection of an education system which rates box ticking over critical thought and literacy??

Lord Patel was overseas on his vast foreign estates in October and was virtually restricted to watching Bloomberg TV.

As chonronicled in posts then the site of the Dow / S & P /NASDAQ's daily fall followed round the world by FTSE etc., was like watching mongeese eating snakes.

WE have another - and probably several more bouts of this as the private investors head outta the market .. where to ?

That is not clear but liquidating investments to pay the bills must be a major concern.

Pensions , schools funds etc., are rapidly disappearing and a despairing cry froma journalist one time recently as - "we all had better get used to working till we drop"

Don't be too hard on Anon- at least it gives heads up - there us just to much news at present.

LDV bought for 50m from sun european who paid 20m 8 months before, govt says its already stumped up 25m (which gaz says went to sun european so mandelson's seafaring pal only actually coughed 25m which was almost certainly debt).
Cheaper than handing over more dosh to oleg's yacht maintenance fund would be to let it go bust, and buy it wholesale from the administrators.
The british public could pick up a bargain.
