Spy on your neighbours, friends, relatives .. anybody
The thinking(?) behind the recent Met terrist posterised awareness campaign , which keeps you on the qui vive about neighbours using hydrogen peroxide (that's numerous hairdressers onthe DNA database no danger), and spooky folk who take pictures of them watching us watching us watching them defeats us.
Except there is a funny smell coming from the Patel's kitchen at No 27, all that curcumn in the turmeric .... Hmmmmm.. better just give Plod a ring, you never know, he looks suspicious ..and he has got a beard.

Is this a guest post from the boingboing archive ??
What does surprise me about the so called airline bomb plot is that no one has pointed out that were it possible to so simply construct an explosive from the contents of under-sink and bathroom cupboards, then kitchens across the country would be blowing out on a daily basis.
Human nature being what it is, curious citizens and spiritied teens would be blending and boiling their John Innes, camping stove tabs, nail varnish remover etc etc to see what they could come up with.
Fact is, it isn't so simple and the recent "posterised awareness campaign" is a tale full of sound and fury, told by an idiot, signifying nothing.
It's only of interest to the idiots who have to justify the inconvenience they've heaped on travellers and people who'd like to see their neighbour shot by a scared witless policeman.
Oh, and at the Patel kitchen, I'd recommend a little less tumeric and a tad more ginger.
This is a deliberate policy to fragment society; to create suspicion to breakdown trust in one's friends, one's students so total control can be put on society. It has absolutely nothing to do with Muslim terrorism; it's to prevent the population of the UK rising up against totalitarian government
My personal favourite of the bunch
My sides are still aching from the hilarity and no I don't have an odd sense of humour.
How do I know if the odd person isn't me?
