German spies bomb EU office to frustrate plans for EULEX in Kosovo - trustworthy Albanians involved in double dealing with the BND ? Shirley not ?

The Boy David AKA Foreign Secretary was glad handing the criminals and thugs, Prime Minister Hashim Thaci and Foreign Minister Skender Hyseni of Kosovo ( Europe Minister Caroline Flint and DFID Minister Mike Foster were also present to join in shaking their bloody hands) who were in London with President Sejdiu and he was anxious to ;

....applaud the President and Prime Minister's commitment to full deployment of the EU rule of law mission in Kosovo (EULEX). This deployment is a crucial stage in Kosovo's development. Despite their deep concerns about some of the UN proposed transitional arrangements, I am impressed by the clearly-voiced commitment of Kosovo's leaders to take account of the concerns of Kosovo's Serb community. I discussed with them the importance of cooperation with the UN both in the interim phase before EULEX's full deployment, and thereafter, to the benefit of Kosovo as a multi-ethnic nation.
"Kosovo needs to keep building bridges with its neighbours as it moves closer to the EU. Britain will be with Kosovo in its search for security and prosperity, just as we were during the process leading to independence. "

EULEX will be the EU's largest civilian ESDP mission. Its responsibilities include monitoring and mentoring Kosovo's police, judiciary and prosecutors. Head of Mission General Yves de Kermabon aims to reach Initial Operating Capacity, assuming responsibility for the full range of EULEX's mandate, on 2 December.

Which may have something to do with ..... Four days before a bomb attack in Pristina Kosovan leaders rejected a plan (what the Boy David calls their "deep concerns) by U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's for the deployment of an EU police and justice mission, EULEX.(Reuters)
German spies bomb EU office in Kosovo

Three men ( named so far as Robert C. (47), Andreas B. (41) und Andreas J. (41) see pic) , who it now transpires are members of Germany's foreign intelligence agency the Bundesnachtrichtendienst (BND)were arrested last Wednesday, in Pristina on suspicion of throwing explosives at the office of the EU Special Representative Peter Feith on Nov. 14 (4 days after the leaders rejected EULEX) . They deny involvement in the blast and claim they were only examining the scene. The explosion shattered windows in the building but no one was hurt.

On Saturday 22nd November a Pristina district court judge ordered them detained for 30 days on terrorism charges that could carry sentences of up to 20 years. AP report that court documents show that the prosecutor, Feti Tunuzliu, alleges that the suspects had intended to disrupt the EU's efforts to deploy its new police mission in Kosovo. Tunuzliu wrote that one of the suspects threw 300 grams (0.6 pounds) of dynamite at the EU offices from a building across the street on Nov. 14 as the two others kept watch. The BBC reported that the 3 men were simply investigating the event when arrested.

The German Foreign Ministry has confirmed that three German citizens have been arrested in Kosovo but declined comment. der Spiegel reports they are BND agents but had not been officially registered with the Kosovo authorities, as required so do not enjoy diplomatic immunity.

Bild today says the BND has ruled out the involvement of any of its employees in the attack on the EU office and have sources who believe it is the work of extremists in Kosovo who oppose the involvement of foreign organizations in their country. The arrest of the Germans is, they conclude, the result of a power struggle within the Kosovo leadership, with the anti-European faction having prevailed over those who wanted to see the three men released.

This diplomatic brouhaha arises when there is increasing tension and concern over the EU police mission in Kosovo. UN peacekeepers have been deployed since NATO bombed the country from 20,000 feet and the original UN mission, UNMIK, is now downsizing and the 2,000 strong EU mission, known as EULEX, is due to take over law enforcement.

However, Serbia, which has not recognized Kosovo, has won concessions on the EU deployment and the current plan proposes leaving the UN to patrol the ethnic Serb enclaves within Kosovo. Pristina rejects this and suspects that the split in policing will lead to a de-facto partition of Kosovo.

All very odd.. and the German Parliamentary Control group (PKG) will be meeting folks from the BND for a chat .. er .. "special meeting" which will no doubt be behind very closed doors.

Thomas Oppermann, chairman of the PKG , Social Democrat, said he could not imagine how the German agents could be involved in an attack on EU offices. "That seems to have been plucked out of the air," he told ARD on Monday. Max Stadler, who represents the opposition FDP on the panel, told the Berliner Zeitung that he wanted the government and the BND to say if the men were indeed intelligence officers.

PS : Lord Patel wishes to make it clear that all Albanian / Kosovan Government Ministers are honest, truthful, trsutworthy and sincere men and that there is no question that BND officers bombed EU officers in Pristina and and apologises if a misleading impression may have be given in the above story. see - Saturday, February 16, 2008 Kosovo - another swamp to get mired in to meet US colonial and imperial ambitions - this time in the Balkans - AGAIN and also Thursday, August 07, 2008 Gangsters settle in in Kosovan Government Thaci promotes Fehim Mujota to Head the Kosovo Security Forces

UPDATE Tuesday Nov 25th Gazette von Antwerpen suggests in a report that the Kosovan (ie Albanian) Mafia have fit up the Duitsers as they don't want anyone (EULEX) interfering in their lucrative people rafficking and drug smuggling.

The NYT report ..."Germany was one of the first countries to recognize Kosovo after it declared independence and it is a major aid donor. “Germany supports E.U. policy in Kosovo, and as such it would make no sense to attack the E.U. building in Pristina,” said Max Stadler, deputy chairman of the parliamentary commission (FDP) supervising the German secret services. "

Which makes sense, but one wonders what the BND guys were up to.

See also Emportal Serbian news agency report ..."Serbian Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovicyesterday visited the Visoki Decani Monastery where he stated that Kosovo Serbs cannot accept the Kosovo institutions’ four-item plan regarding the deployment of EULEX in the province. "

Sources told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa that the men's employer, Logistic Coordination Assessment Services, which ostensibly advises investors on opportunities in Kosovo, was a BND front company. Also reported by EIN (subscription only)

It seems no-one wants EULEX (except the Boy David) but curiously this is a story which hasn't seen light of day in any UK Press / TV....except us.

UPDATE : 25th Nov Der Spiegel says Kosovo authorities claim to have a film showing the bomb attack- but it hasn't been made public.

Copping a plea - conspiracies fall apart both sides of the Atlantic

President Bush's White House Press moist lipped mouthpiece Ari Fleischer logged on to the Washington Post's website late on September 27th 2003 and was alarmed to read.....

"Bush Administration Is Focus of Leak Inquiry" ran the screaming headline - which would appear the followng morning on Washington DC's breakfast tables, well above the fold.

"CIA Agent's Identity Was Leaked to Media." ran the sub head of Mike Allen and Dana Priest's well sourced and detailed Plamegate story ..... the sweat stood out on Ari's receding forehead ...

He headed for the toilet and then for his lawyer.

Ari had disclosed Plame's identity and CIA status to more than one journalist. He had told NBC News reporter David Gregory, and other unnamed reporters, that Plame was married to Wilson. As the case for perjury and obstruction of justice trial of I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby unfolds it seems half the White House were talking to most of the White House journos about nothing else at the time ..on the "QT" .. "strictly off the record, old boy" or whatver damn Yankees say in such circumstances.

According to feisty Peter Zeidenberg, an assistant US attorney working with Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald , Fleischer (presumably on the advice of his lawyer) asserted his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination and would answer questions before a grand jury only if Fitzgerald promised he would not prosecute him. In February 2004 he got his court-ordered immunity.

Fleischer, who had quietly resigned his White House position in July 2003, would sing like a canary for the Grand Jury if he was guaranteed immunity... and he did... his book Taking Heat: The President, the Press, and My Years in the White House published in March 2005 - Searching the index shows no mention of Plame, Wilson or the Niger uranium - his immunity deal silenced him from discussing the issue.

Fleischer in testimony in court today 29th January said that the conversation happened on Monday, July 7, 2003, the day after former Ambassador Joseph Wilson's op-ed article appeared in the New York Times, and he was a guest on "Meet the Press," accusing the administration of "twisting" intelligence on Iraq's weapons programs. Libby - according to prosecutors - told Fleischer at lunch at the White House that the information that Wilson's wife worked at the CIA was "hush-hush."

Its always enjoyable and entertaining, even instructive when political conspiracists fall out and rush to the exit hoping to save at least their skins even if their reputation lis shredded in the process.

Back in Blighty, it is evident that PC Plod has been carefully identifying those who conspired to secretly finance New Labour for the last election ( and collect their coronet on the way past GO ) and finally like Ari, one has decide to do a deal - which of course po-faced lawyers maintain you cannot do under English law (Ho.Ho.).

So when a jaunty, very well suited, bouffant haired left handed, bon vivant and master of an elegantly turned phrase had a quiet tete a tete over the Earl Grey last week with Commander Yates's men, it is understood that it was held in the offices of one of the finer legal brains in W1.

Not too far from where Kevin Gately 21, year old maths student at Warwick University a member of the International Marxist Group, was killed, on June 15th 1974, it is alleged, by a mounted policeman’s truncheon - the first demonstrator to be killed in Britain for 55 years. (pic memorial painting in Warwick University Students Union)

It remains to be seen if a deal can be stitched up - charges for stealing paper clips and incorrect use of an umbrella stand can be brought to bear for help in explaining the way the systems of noble preferment, not to mention inter office communications in New Labour worked in the recent past.

Mr McTernan is in Edinburgh busily organising the complete and utter fucking disaster that awaits New Labour in the forthcoming Scottish elections.

DPRK "test" to be welcomed...

To the nervous, the underground explosion in NE North Korea, stop worrying. The desperate gamble by the madman dictator and his crazy scientists is, on balance a GOOD thing. (Pic Sean Garland "Official IRA leader" - not a GOOD thing, wanted in the US for distributing counterfeit DPRK manufactured US currency)

1. There are 2 types of rudimentary bomb that they might be able to re-create, the Uranium bomb - the only one ever used was at Hiroshima and the ability to produce the required type of Uranium is way beyond their technology and energy sources.

The lower cost Plutonium bomb and more easily acheivable in terms of substrate demands precise engineering and control systems, it would of course destroy or make unuseable and irrecoverable the plutonium they used.... lowering or even eliminating a future threat.

2. The amount of Plutonium they have been able to make is unknown, but best estimates are between 5 and 10 Kg. - they have displayed possibly 500 grams to US diplomats.

3. There is evidence that the explosion was actually produced by the use of massive amounts of chemical explosives, meaning that they have not been able to produce even a rudimentary bomb mechanism.

4. There is no evidence whatever they have the ability to produce a small device which could be air launched by missiles or aircraft.

5. The BAD NEWS news is (despite the "test") that they have enough nasty radioactive materials to make a very unpleasant "dirty" bomb - which is why the US are naturally (and sensibly) calling for marine inspection of North Korean cargoes.... which stems from the criminal nature of the regime.

For a useful background to the need for this, go here The North Korean Criminal State, its Ties to Organized Crime, and the Possibility of WMD Proliferation by David L. Asher published as their Policy Forum Online 05-92A: November 15th, 2005 disclaiming that his views represent those of the US State Department which he left in July 2005 or the view of the US government, or the Department of Defense. He starts ...

he rise of the criminal state in North Korea is no secret. It has occurred in full view of foreign governments and with increasing visibility to the world media.

...and finishes...

North Korea is the only government in the world today that can be identified as being actively involved in directing crime as a central part of its national economic strategy and foreign policy. As a result, Pyongyang is radically - and perhaps even hopelessly - out of synch with international law and international norms. In essence, North Korea has become a "soprano state" - a government guided by a Worker's Party leadership whose actions, attitudes, and affiliations increasingly resemble those of an organized crime family more than a normal nation.

Asher states, that the DPRK government is involved in a wide range of illicit businesses in partnership with organized crime groups or unilaterally... including :

1. Production and overseas distribution of narcotics, in particular heroin and methamphetamines:

Seizures of DPRK Meth (1,500 Kg) - of a distinctive high quality represented 35% of all such seizures in Japan with a wholesale value of over US$75 million and a street value of as much as $300 million.

The DPRK established an Embassy in Canberra, shortly after the 4,000 tonne Pong Su ( a "Workers Party" vessel with a KWP secretary on board and flying the Flag of Convenience of Tuvalu) was boarded by Australian Special Forces and 125 kg of Heroin worth $150 million seized.

23 crew members were deported and on March 2nd 2006 4 ships officers were found not guilty by the Australian Supreme Court.

On 23 March 2006, in a joint RAAF and RAN operation, the Pong Su was sunk by two 2000-pound laser-guided bombs dropped from RAAF F-111 aircraft.

At the time William Bach of the State Department's Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs told a Senate Governmental Affairs subcommittee that there have been at least 50 arrests or drug seizures involving North Koreans in more than 20 countries.

The Police said that the heroin was of the high-quality Double UOGlobe brand most likely produced in Myanmar, because the Korean made product is too low a quality for the market.(Wapo story here)
http://opioids.com/korea/

2. Production and international distribution of counterfeit currency, especially US currency, as well as cigarettes and pharmaceuticals.

Under International Law, counterfeiting another nation's currency is an act of causus belli, an act of economic war.

The United States Secret Service has designated certain counterfeit US currency as "C-14342" and they came to be known as "Supernote" or "Superdollar" , first discovered in the Philippines in 1989. Their origin was a printing plant in Pyeongseong, one of the cities in the province Pyeongahnnamdo in North Korea. They were cited in evidence of |Sean Garland and others of the Official IRA for their partnership in the criminal distribution of counterfeit US currency. (BBC report June 20th 2004 and Panorama programme same day)

On April 1st 2006, Sean Garland was unanimously re-elected as President of The Workers' Party (previously the Sinn Fein Workers party) and in a keynote address to the party membership gathered in Dublin he vowed to fight any attempt to extradite him to the United States.

3. Smuggling sanctioned items, including conflict diamonds, rhino horn and ivory, and endangered species, utilizing official diplomatic means - at least six North Korean diplomats have been forced to leave Africa after attempts to smuggle elephant tusks and rhinoceros horns.

4. Money laundering for its own account and in partnership with recognized organized crime groups abroad including the Macau based Banco Delta Asia which was designated under Section 311 of the USA Patriot Act.

5. Weapons smuggling and trading in WMD - 1,000's of shipping containers leave the DPRK every year from Najin on the east coast and Nampo on the west coast. They enter the international maritime transport system, through friendly ports, typically in China, the ROK, and Japan.

The North Korean vessel Sosang, which was interdicted shipping missiles (under a commercial cargo of cement) to Yemen in December 2002 .

The US President recently announced a new policy on Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA). Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) has been defined as the effective knowledge of all activities associated with the global maritime environment that could impact the security, safety, economy, or environment of the United States.

The purpose of MDA is to generate actionable intelligence. Without actionable intelligence, counterterrorist or maritime law enforcement operations are largely pointless.

It is for these reasons that the DPRK regime should be removed - as well as their continued and continuing starvation of their population.

However the State sponsored (and very well run) Fear Factories are happier to have screaming headlines about missiles, nuclear bombs and other such nonsense. It keeps their populations alert and obedient, ven if it does nothing to remove the problem.

The US, have of course displayed their impotence in invading Iraq, against much advice, and with the acquiesence of our Dear Leader - and China, has no desire to bring the madman down with it's attendant chaos and the threat of millions of refugees streaming across the Yalu river.

So nothing will happen - unless a different criminal gang decide to depose Kim, but then you just have just another gang of Sopranos running the country , just like Italy.... or the US.

OH! the picture .... that's Sean Garland, ex-Marxist, who the UK won't extradite to the US, the man the Irish Gubment don't want to arrest and everybody seems to want to leave in peace running his criminal gang in Dublin. and the man who pops in and out of the Moscow DPRK Embassy like the man with the umbrella on the weather clock.

The Northern Ireland Office website head their report on organised crime ..

"
The criminal gangs who operate in Northern Ireland are involved in a range of crime areas in order to maximise their own gain.

Organised crime in Northern Ireland differs from the rest of the UK because of its history of paramilitary involvement and the land border with the Republic of Ireland. Many have links with criminals in other countries, highlighting the global nature of organised crime."
