Ian Blair backs Cressida and says officers told no lies.

Interview “Exclusive with Rupert’s Rag News of the World today…..he makes a point of backing Commander Cressida Dick, who was in overall charge on the day of the shooting.

He adds firmly: "Cressida has my absolute confidence and support." Sir Ian stresses he has apologised to the de Menezes family and denies that his officers told them lies.

I think Cressida has good reason to worry that one of the finest minds that Christ Church has produced is backing her….. I suggest she starts to look for another job PDQ.
