WHAT THE PALESTINIANS SAY based mainly on hospital / Emergency records seen by journalists

4.45-4.46: Palestinian paramedic Khaled Abu Sada receives emergency call.

4.50: Abu Sada leaves for the beach.

5.00: His ambulance arrives at beach .

5.05: Victims arrive at the hospital in first ambulance.

WHAT THE IDF SAY: Based on their surveillance CCTV seen by nobody but the IDF

4.48: Last shell fired at beach.(Shelling beaches on sovereign Palestine territory being normal IDF military activity)

4.54-4.57: Normal activity on beach.

5.12: Palestinians ask Israelis to stop shelling the beach because of medical emergency.

5.15: First ambulance arrives on beach.

Of course to believe the IDF story you need to believe that either Hamas rocketeers use cast iron rockets and deliberately (or maybe accidentally) shell their own beaches - or even left a land mine there (again made out of cast iron) .... oh and you also need to believe in the tooth fairy. ... Amir Peretz, the (Labour Party leader) Defence Minister, declared: " The accumulating evidence proves that this incident was not due to Israeli forces." He obviously does.
