Queen gives Proud Plod a bauble - Royalist Plot thickens
In the quaint, much admired and divisive Birthday Honours list, the Queen has seen fit to award the Met's Assistant Commissioner Andy Hayman, with a CBE. He will be remembered for the total fuck up last week in Forest Gate for which he was responsible.
Apparently the BBC say he did wonders on July 7th ... another fuck up according to the recent report, taking 2 hours to get to the scene of the asassinations, lack of communications , failures of equipment etc., etc.,
Remember our Andy was the guy who went home at 11 pm on the day de Menezes was assassinated by the Israeli trained "special police" marksmen and he didn't know then (he says) they had shot the wrong guy. Wonderful public service. Give the man a medal.
What do they get when something goes right ? ... or is the old dynast having a fucking good laugh at the Met's expense ?
Our Andy of course prepared the Met case for locking terrists up for 30 or more days , this was ably ridiculed by Gareth Pierce in the Guradian here. . he called it another "dodgy dossier".

Gareth's a she, and she's amazing. Of Guildford Four and Birmingham Six fame, she appeared alongside the Forest Gate brothers at their press conference and her firm is working with the de Menezes family.
Any idea how many Muslims have been rounded-up recently? Apparently, Mr Hayman responded to a question about a figure of 3,000 since 11th September 2001 but this information appears to be disappearing down the memory hole. Osama Saeed has more.
