Sunday Express claims SAS /SRR murdered Jean de Menezes - Amazing Pictures

Tom Griffin at Green Ribbon and Lord Patel both wrote to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) regarding the use of military staff in murdering Jean Charlese Menezes. The letters / responses can be reviewed here

The bottom line being ..

"We are unable to release the information we hold relating to the Special Reconaissance Regiment (SRR) as the information in question relates to UK Special Forces, of which the SRR is part. Therefore it is exempt from disclosure under section 23(3)(d) of the Freedom of Information Act."

Which appears to be an elaborate way of saying Fuck Off.

This whole question is raised again in an "Exclusive" in the Sunday Express page 10 today " Proof SAS stormed de Menezes home" with a picture ( A.FULLER/ISIPPHOTOS.com) which shows two aremed men with military style flash / headgear with helmets bearing a green tag "SR" which it is claimed means the wearers are part of the Special Reconnaissance Regiment (SRR) attached / associated / part of the SAS and based in Hereford and are named (according to Rupe's Rag of record the Sunday Times they are known as the "X men").

Metropolitan Police Authority member Damian Hockney is going to ask Sir Ian Blair ." (for) a breakdown of the numbers of police involved, how many SAS and how many from the SRR"
