Harriet Harman who needed to borrer £10K to fund her Deputy Leadership challenge will return David Abrahams dosh.
"Mr Brown's nearest rival on the money-raising front is Northern Ireland secretary Peter Hain, who has raised £77,000, while the justice minister Harriet Harman has borrowed £10,000 from a bank to stay in the race. Even though he no longer needs the money to fight a leadership contest, it is being used to fund Mr Brown's appearances explaining his policy priorities at hustings around the country."

Now BBC4 PM at 5.00pm GMT announces the flustered Harriet will return the £5,000 that so circuitously found its way into in to her warchest from Mr Abrahams via Ms Janet Kidd.
My God! How that will hurt.
Harriet says , interviewed by BBC, she didn't know Ms Kidd personally - but did write to her thanking her for it. She had never heard of David Abrahams. She didn't know whether the initial contact was from Ms Kidd to "her team" or vice versa.
