L'Express reported on its website today and will publish images of the two in this week's editions, is running a front-page image of the Italian-French Bruni tomorrow (Monday) with the headline "Carla Bruni: The President's Girlfriend."

According to L'Express the Journal du Dimanche undertook a survey on October 18/19th of 964 people, 89% of the questioned people estimate that this connection must remain of a private nature, 11% to think that it acts against the public interest.(au contraire d'une "affaire d'ordre publique")

The vast majority of those asked (86%), said it did not affect their view of Sarkozy as Head of the State. For 11% of them, it worsened, for 3%, it improved.
