J P Morgan offers Bear Stearns shareholders US$10 - take it or leave it.... " Curveball" surfaces as promised.


So J P Morgan ups what they will pay Bear Stearns shareholders to US$10 a share (Total US$1.2 Bn) - which doesn't even cover the value of the real estate.

So what happens if Joe Lewis and the other shareholders refuse the offer and JPM walk away ?
