Prof. Southall who accused Stephen Clark of murder agrees to GMC continuing sanctions

Paediatrician Professor David Southall, 59, watched a Channel 4 Despatches documentary about the Sally Clark case in April 2000. The film highlighted weaknesses in the case against Sally Clark and her husband appeared in the film who was campaigning for his wife's release. In the film Stephen was interviewed and he described a nosebleed that his son Christopher had had in a London hotel in 1996. Christopher died at home nine days after the hotel incident.

Southall subsequently publicly accused Mr Clark the husband of solicitor Sally Clark of murdering their children as he had concluded that the father must have tried to smother Christopher just before the bleeding. He contacted the child protection team and later wrote a report claiming that Mr Clark's guilt was "certain or near-certain."

Southall had no previous involvement with the investigation into the deaths of the couple's children - other than presumably reading what was publicly available. Southall went to the Police and told them that it was "beyond reasonable doubt" that Steve Clark murdered his sons, Christopher and Harry. he also provided a written report explaining his reasons for reaching that conclusion. This is a claim for which has has not apologised for to Mr Clark and has refused to withdraw or entertain any caveats, when requested to do so by the GMC review panel. It is also a claim which the Police or the CPS have not seriously pursued... although of course Mr Clark was initially charged by the Police with the children's murders, but the the charges were dropped at an early stage in the investigation.

At the time Dr Evan Harris, Liberal Democrat MP for Oxford West and Abingdon and a member of the science and technology select committee, said: "Doctors have a duty to report to the appropriate authorities legitimate concerns they may have about the health and welfare of children.

"What has been lost in the coverage of this case is that the doctor concerned has been criticised for the nature and style of his reporting to the child protection authorities and not the fact that he did it."

The GMC have previously (Aug 2004) forbidden Southall from working on child protection cases for 3 years after he was found guilty of serious professional misconduct in 2004 and was declared to have been "irresponsible, inappropriate and misleading". after Mr Clark complained to the GMC.

A further review meeting held today at the General Medical Council (GMC) headquarters in Manchester heard that Southall will not contest an application to extend that ban for a further 12 months.

Southall was present, but said nothing his lawyer, Alison Foster QC, said Southall will "freely accept" restrictions banning him from working on child protection cases.

"We would submit there's been no substantial change in Dr Southall's position," Mr Tyson QC Counsel for Mr Clark, told the hearing. "He still thinks he was right to do what he did and this, we submit, shows a continuing lack of the necessary insight or he's a man who doesn't change his mind easily." Previously Tyson had said Professor Southall was an arrogant, dogmatic and "very dangerous doctor" who did not deserve his place in the medical profession.

Dr Southall is currently facing further disciplinary proceedings following an allegation he kept more than 4,000 "special cases" files about children.

It is alleged these documents were not stored on a proper hospital file and some cases later involved criminal prosecutions.

The attorney general (who is of course now the unelected and snooty Baroness Scotland and not the discredited war criminal Lord Goldsmith) is reviewing all the cases in which Dr Southall appeared as a prosecution witness.

Southall pioneered the use of covert video surveillance (CVS) to detect cases of Munchausen's Disease by Proxy which led to a total of 33 parents or step-parents being prosecuted.

It is difficult, if not impossible to imagine a worse libel than to be accused of murder of your children ... Mr Clark, whilst pursuing Southall relentlessly for his claims has not yet taken the opportunity to sue him for libel or defamation.

A sacked US Attorney, a dead Assistant US Attorney, the DC Madam ... and some complicated questions

Shortly before midnight, December 3rd 2003, young Assistant United States Attorney Jonathan Luna , vanishes from his desk in the federal courthouse in downtown Baltimore.

Without explanation he mysteriously drives away from his office in the courthouse, away from his life, embarking on a wildly improbable midnight ride.

In his office he leaves behind oddly important, personal items. His laptop. His cell phone. His eyeglasses.

And a bad plea agreement he was unable or unwilling to complete.

The next morning, shortly before dawn, Luna’s body is found face down in a cold stream outside of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He’s been stabbed thirty-six times, once for every thousand dollars missing from a courthouse safe.

His car idles beside him at the side of the murmuring creek. He’s seventy miles from his office, at the far end of a midnight ride that carried him across four states.

Wayne Madsen reports that the DOJ gave US Attorney Thomas DiBiagi the DC Madam Palfrey case who succeeded in getting a crooked cop Ed Norris (a pal of NYC Police Commisioner Bernard Kerik and now a talk show host) to squeal on the escort service in May 2004 It seems they admitted Madam Palfrey's escort service had received illicit payouts from official (charity) police funds.

Norris and Kerik also figured in the work of one of DiBagio's assistants on the DC Madam case who had foundRepublican Maryland Governor Robert Ehrlich and lobbyist Jack Abramoff were DC Madam clients. (Ehrlich will be remebered no only for re-introducing the death sentence in Maryland (he refused clemency for the two who died during his term) but also for being the only sitting Governor in the 2006 elections to lose office ,whilst sitting )

Then, DiBiagio became the first U.S. Attorney fired by the Justice Department after Bush's re-election in 2004 - but that was after the Maryland Governor's Chief of Staff called up DiBagio and essentially threatened him. DiBagio indicated that he viewed the contact as a personal threat to him and immediately reported it to the DOJ. You know the rest. The threat was ignored and DiBagio was forced out, the investigation was kiilled.

Vastly underreported, DiBagio's probe had linked Republican governor Ehrlich to Bob Ney, Tom DeLay, Duke Cunningham and others but the investigation died when he was fired. On November 28th 2005 "Randy" Cunningham pleaded guilty to tax evasion, conspiracy to commit bribery, mail fraud, wire fraud - he gets out of prison on June 4th 2013.

Baltimore NAACP Marvin Cheatam told those gathered, "We would say justice delayed is justice denied. And it is quite clear that there are enough questions about Mr. Luna's death that this issue must be brought back up again. A full investigation must take place. Another autopsy must take place because not only were there multiple stabbings but stabbings in the back."

Almost a million Palestinians were refugees by the end of 1949. Over 400 villages had been destroyed. 50 years later, it is called ethnic cleansing .That is what Ilan Pappe calls it. It is regarded under international law today as a crime against humanity.

Only the degree of premeditation on the part of the Zionist leadership remains unclear. What was clear was the goal of a homogenous ethnic Jewish state in the whole of Palestine whose borders appear limitless.

Founding fathers like Theodor Herzl just wanted them to go , to disappear, and spoke of "spiriting the penniless population across the border". The Palestinians who owned more than 93% of the cultivated land in Palestine stood in the way.

The Consultancy, a small group of decision makers led by the insane David Ben-Gurion, finalised the Plan Dalet, which served as the masterplan for ethnic cleansing to create an exclusive Jewish state was through force of arms , systematic destruction, and by ethnic cleansing making the population flee and if they don't killing them. "The orders came with a detailed description of the methods to be employed to forcibly evict the people: large-scale intimidation; laying siege to and bombarding villages and population centres; setting fire to homes, properties and goods; expulsion; demolition; and, finally, planting mines among the rubble to prevent any of the expelled inhabitants from returning." Once out, they had to stay out.

On 24 May 1948, Ben Gurion the Messianic warmonger wrote, "We will establish a Christian state in Lebanon, the southern border of which will be the Litani River. We will break Transjordan, bomb Amman and destroy its army, and then Syria falls, and if Egypt will still continue to fight - we will bombard Port Said, Alexandria and Cairo. This will be in revenge for what they (the Egyptians, the Aramis and Assyrians) did to our forefathers during Biblical times."

UN resolution 181 requred Britain to intervene, they had 70,000 toops in Palestine but were struggling with massive problems at home and in Europe there was little appetite for further strife at any level. Nonetheless Attlee's Labour Government connived at the Israeli onslaught, and declared non-interference and withdrew their Police , whilst at the same time trying to prevent new Jewish immigrants reaching Palestine. Probably what the Foreign Office at the time considered an "even handed" policy. Fuck with both sides and call it neutrality...qv Lebanon 2006 and the orchestrated cluster bombing.

Remorselessly, over the years, the pogrom has rolled on, the stateless, landless ,oppressed and disposessed, herded by a zealous and unquestioning conscript military force into smaller and isolated territories. What is happpening in the Occupied Territories and Gaza today is simply an extension in time, but one supported willingly by a consensus led by the Zionist led US and the UK.
