The infamous Downing Street boiler room e-mails raise some puzzling points which do not seem to have been addressed.

1. How were they intercepted .... if directly, it brings shades of the Charlie telcon when he discussed aricles of intimate feminine hygeine with his (current) wife **** ...and even earlier his (then) wifes intimacies with a lover (?) - requiring a technology available to only a few.

2. Apparently Paul Staines is a Cunt received copies (paper / electronically, known or unknown source ?) on Jan 13th - why the wait by this gobby and vicious smut peddler ?

3.Paul Staines is a Cunt is well oiled into the lunatic well fed,well rich, far right - as is Iain Dale the other far righ ist amateur blogiste. Viz the Stateless, homeless Lord Ashcroft .

4. Did their release help to destroy Glamourous Gordon AND (as shit sticks) unsteady the current Cnservative Party leadrship ?

After all Moneybags Wheeler has decamped, maybe with a few of his lunatic friends.Perhaps changes may ring in the dosh they require for an election....

Arrest in Langbar fraud case in which Lord Levy's "cash for Coronets " sidekick Barry Townsley was involved with other N London football supporters

Spanish police arrested six people tied to a $600 million fraud committed at Langbar International Ltd., (AKA Crown Corp) is a murky Bermuda-based "investment company" . It has been the subject of leisurely scrutiny by the Serious Fraud Office since 2005.

In a nutshell Crown/Langbar is a Bermuda-registered company, founded by a Polish-Canadian, backed by Israeli money, which traded in Argentina, banked its money in Brazil (Banco de Brasil) , had its accounts audited in Spain (Barcelona based Gironella Velasco ) ... and, which thanks to British financial advisers (see below - all keen supporters of North London football clubs) , listed its shares on the London stock market.

The Spanish police have just arrested 6 people ( between 56 and 76 years old at residences in Madrid, Barcelona and Alicante) in what they claim is a US$600 Mn. fraud .

The company operated as a "cash shell" quoted on London Alternative Investment Market (AIM) , shareholders included at one time Merrill Lynch and Gartmore . The fraud originally came to notice when it was announced £ 370 Mn. had evaporated from its accounts.

“The present board of Langbar International is determined to discover exactly what has transpired concerning company funds and to pursue their recovery,” the company said on its Web site. “Our aim is to restore value for shareholders to the maximum that can be achieved.”

The fraud appears to date back to 2003, when the suspects allegedly attracted investors through false claims about the company’s assets, police said. This involved all sorts of floated lies that there was the “very exciting” $294m demerger of Crown Pharmaceutical, which was going to buy a Russian drugs company, and Crown Development, an eastern European property company.Once the shares rose, the suspects sold their holdings, according to the Spanish police.

El Pais reported that the six men arrested were charged and released and that one of the suspects was a former Israeli Mossad agent - believed to be 2 metre tall, 30 lb gorilla Abraham “Avi” Arad, and said to be a mathematical genius - who is understood to be the same person as one of the men arrested on January 21 as the fascinating and much sought after, Abraham Hochman.

The SFO declined to comment on any plans to extradite the arrested men.
Officials at the U.K.’s Financial Services Authority declined to comment, as did those at the City of London Police and the London Stock Exchange.

In April Langbar’s founder, Mariusz Rybak, agreed to pay about 30 million pounds in April to settle a lawsuit brought by the company’s directors and the judge made him sell his house in Monaco. They alleged that Rybak falsified the company’s assets as part of a fraud against investors. Mrs Izabela Rybak (‘‘Mrs Rybak’’), and a company incorporated in Monaco, SCI Atol a company allegedly owned and controlled by Mrs Rybak and her daughter also seems to feature sonwehere in this tangled tale.

In 2007 Nabarro Wells, the finance house that floated Langbar, was fined £250,000 by the London Stock Exchange for failings related to the affair. NW has since April 2008 been part of Ambrian Capital plc , an AIM listed specialist investment banking group focused on the mining, oil & gas, alternative energy and new technology sectors.

Mariusz Rybak, is / was described as a Canadian technology executive, and Jean-Pierre Regli, a Swiss-Italian banker were the co-founders . It may surprise many to discover that they were on good terms with Barry Townsley and Simon Fox of stockbroker Insinger Townsley. Barry was of course also a great supporter of frank Donson's abortive bid to be Mayor of London.

Barry of course was/is a good friend of the Karaoke King (AKA Lord Levy and pal of the Qratet's envoy in the Middle East Tony Blair) who promised him and Earldom and half of Surrey, and a string of live in chorus girls as well as eternal life , in exchange for a loan to the New Labour Party. David Belfield / Dawud Salahuddin / Hassan Abdulrahman /Hassan Tantai and the missing Bob Levinson in Iran - is October "surprise" on the way ?

It must have been a bit of a surprise on the afternoon of Friday 21st November when Sean McCormack, Spokesman for the State department started his Press briefing with a statement about the curious tale of ex FBI agent Robert Levinson . (see video here )

The United States continues to call on Iran to cooperate with U.S. authorities on the case of Robert Levinson, an American citizen who has been missing since disappearing from Iran’s Kish Island over nineteen months ago. The U.S. Department of State remains committed to determining Mr. Levinson’s whereabouts, and returning him safely to his family that includes seven children, one grandchild and a second grandchild on the way. The quicker members of the Press saw that this was of course in response to Senator Nelson's remarks on the 20th November to raise a Senate resolution about the mysterious disappearance of Bob Levinson, a businessman who vanished after checking out of his hotel on the resort island of Kish on March 9, 2007.

Bob is / was however no ordinary businesman and is/was an FBI agent who in his retirement was in some way involved in investigating cigarette smuggling. His signature appears in a resort log book, showing that he checked out. His passport has never turned up.

Florida Republican Senator (Bob lives in Coral Springs) also raised his case in the senate on November 20th . (Miami Herald) .

On September 5th Wapo reported that Levinson's trip to Kish island, an Iranian duty-free zone that does not require visas, wqas being investigate by Swiss diplomatic staff, anxious to find a duffle bag - but they had been refused access by the Iranian Governmnt.

Subsequently in December his wife Christine Levinson, accompanied by their 22 year old son, Daniel, visited Iran and met hotel staff and airport workers on Kish Island but obatined no further information.

Since then Iran continues to claim it has no information on the fate of Mr. Levinson and when his wife sought a meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who was at the United Nations for the U.N. General Assembly he declined to meet with her.

However CNN reported that Levinson met with a Dawud Salahuddin, who is a fugitive from American justice who now lives in Iran, shortly before his disappearance.

Salahuddin -- now known in Iran as Hassan Abdulrahman -- converted to Islam and was given refuge in Iran after admitting in interviews to killing Ali Akbar Tabatabai, a former Iranian diplomat under the Shah, in Maryland in 1980.

Salahuddin said Iranian officials in plain clothes detained him to examine his pasport and he was taken away from the room he shared with Levinson to be interrogated about his Iranian passport. He says he was told when he was freed the following day that Bob levinson had returned to Dubai.

Senior US administration officials have told CNN that they think Salahuddin met with Levinson, but do not believe him to be a credible source of information on Levinson's whereabouts.

Which is OK as far as it goes but Salahuddin is actually David Belfield, (born Roanoke Rapids, NC on November 10, 1950.) the disaffected son of a black father and white mother from North Carolina. He paid a postal worker $500 to borrow his Jeep and uniform. The 29-year-old then drove the few miles to the affluent Washington suburb of Bethesda, Maryland, where Ali Akbar Tabatabai, a former Iranian diplomat and critic of Ayatollah Khomeini, lived and shot him three times in the stomach with a handgun.(Guradian)

As if this is not enough, Belfield turned up agin 21 years later Hassan Tantai, in a false beard in an Iranian film called Kandahar, (Safar-e Ghandehar ("Journey to Kandahar") and, alternatively, The Sun Behind the Moon) directed by Mohsen Makhmalbaf, head of Iran's most celebrated film-making dynasty.

How so ?

Well in Montgomery County, Doug Gansler, the young state attorney who has been on Belfield's tail since he surfaced momentarily in Istanbul in 1995, to confess to the killing on ABC's 20/20 programme, couldn't quite believe his eyes when he saw David Belfield / Dawud Salahuddin /Hassan Abdulrahman /Hassan Tantai re-play the role of a black American who, like him, joined up to fight the Russians and then returned years later to tend to the women suffering under Mullah Omar's bizarre and cruel interpretation of Sharia law in Afghanistan.

As if that is not enough he seems to have tired of life in Teheran and in 1995 wrote to then US attorney general Janet Reno offering to surrender himself - but on quite novel terms. First, former president Jimmy Carter would have to testify at his trial, and Belfield was to remain free until a verdict was reached. "Even while awaiting possible execution," he wrote, "I would have to retain freedom of movement while, at the same time, waiving any right of appeal." Reno refused the offer. .. perhaps his frequent overseas travels to Arab countries and North Korea may have put him beyond the pale.

But yet he lives on in life and fillum..

In 2006 French born film-maker Jean-Daniel Lafond released a film entitled "American Fugitive: The Truth About Hassan", about Salahuddin. Lafond's film , which involves interviews with Belfield stirred controversy - especially as lafond was said to be a Quebec separatist and had ties to some terrorists. Some reviewers thought it was too sympathetic to Salahuddin. Other reviewers have expressed the opinion that Lafond should not address controversial topics because he is married to the current (Hiaitian by birth), 27th and 1st black Governor General of Canada, Her Excellency Michaëlle Jean.

It couldn't be possible that Dubya is about to spring a surprise detente with Iran - yet another volte face to up stage the new President ?

Prof. Southall who accused Stephen Clark of murder agrees to GMC continuing sanctions

Paediatrician Professor David Southall, 59, watched a Channel 4 Despatches documentary about the Sally Clark case in April 2000. The film highlighted weaknesses in the case against Sally Clark and her husband appeared in the film who was campaigning for his wife's release. In the film Stephen was interviewed and he described a nosebleed that his son Christopher had had in a London hotel in 1996. Christopher died at home nine days after the hotel incident.

Southall subsequently publicly accused Mr Clark the husband of solicitor Sally Clark of murdering their children as he had concluded that the father must have tried to smother Christopher just before the bleeding. He contacted the child protection team and later wrote a report claiming that Mr Clark's guilt was "certain or near-certain."

Southall had no previous involvement with the investigation into the deaths of the couple's children - other than presumably reading what was publicly available. Southall went to the Police and told them that it was "beyond reasonable doubt" that Steve Clark murdered his sons, Christopher and Harry. he also provided a written report explaining his reasons for reaching that conclusion. This is a claim for which has has not apologised for to Mr Clark and has refused to withdraw or entertain any caveats, when requested to do so by the GMC review panel. It is also a claim which the Police or the CPS have not seriously pursued... although of course Mr Clark was initially charged by the Police with the children's murders, but the the charges were dropped at an early stage in the investigation.

At the time Dr Evan Harris, Liberal Democrat MP for Oxford West and Abingdon and a member of the science and technology select committee, said: "Doctors have a duty to report to the appropriate authorities legitimate concerns they may have about the health and welfare of children.

"What has been lost in the coverage of this case is that the doctor concerned has been criticised for the nature and style of his reporting to the child protection authorities and not the fact that he did it."

Stephen Clark issued a press release at the time through Sue Stapely his publicist which is available here at the Sally Clark website.

The GMC have previously (Aug 2004) forbidden Southall from working on child protection cases for 3 years after he was found guilty of serious professional misconduct in 2004 and was declared to have been "irresponsible, inappropriate and misleading". after Mr Clark complained to the GMC.

A further review meeting held today at the General Medical Council (GMC) headquarters in Manchester heard that Southall will not contest an application to extend that ban for a further 12 months.

Southall was present, but said nothing his lawyer, Alison Foster QC, said Southall will "freely accept" restrictions banning him from working on child protection cases.

"We would submit there's been no substantial change in Dr Southall's position," Mr Tyson QC Counsel for Mr Clark, told the hearing. "He still thinks he was right to do what he did and this, we submit, shows a continuing lack of the necessary insight or he's a man who doesn't change his mind easily." Previously Tyson had said Professor Southall was an arrogant, dogmatic and "very dangerous doctor" who did not deserve his place in the medical profession.

Dr Southall is currently facing further disciplinary proceedings following an allegation he kept more than 4,000 "special cases" files about children.

It is alleged these documents were not stored on a proper hospital file and some cases later involved criminal prosecutions.

The attorney general (who is of course now the unelected and snooty Baroness Scotland and not the discredited war criminal Lord Goldsmith) is reviewing all the cases in which Dr Southall appeared as a prosecution witness.

Southall pioneered the use of covert video surveillance (CVS) to detect cases of Munchausen's Disease by Proxy which led to a total of 33 parents or step-parents being prosecuted.

It is difficult, if not impossible to imagine a worse libel than to be accused of murder of your children ... Mr Clark, whilst pursuing Southall relentlessly for his claims has not yet taken the opportunity to sue him for libel or defamation.

Southall was appointed OBE for his work in refugee camps during the Bosnian conflict. He donates half of his £140-an-hour fees as an expert witness to his charity, Child Advocacy International, which runs children's medical projects all over the world. The ending of the "Crevice" trial removed reporting instructions in the case of Kazi Nurur Rahman (AKA Abdul Haleem according to Mohammed Babar) ) 29, said to be a plumber, who was arrested on November 29th 2005 and charged with "attempting to possess property intending it should be used for the purpose of terrorism" (section 17 of the Terrorism Act 2000,) and pleaded guilty - he was sentenced to 9 years imprisonment.

It was because Rhaman knew some of the "Crevice" trial defendents and had visited training camps in Pakistan, that details of his arrest and trial (in May 2006) had been suppressed. The star Police "supergrass" Mohammed Babar, also told the Old Bailey that Rahman was the head of a terrorist cell in east London.

Apparently Rahman first became known to the police in 1995 when he was arrested and charged in connection with the death of Ayotunde Obanubi, a Nigerian student (and it is said a Christian) who was stabbed to death outside Newham College in east London - said to be the result of tensions between Muslim and non-Muslim students. It was incidentally at this college that our old friend MI 5 contact and refugee from the law Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed who founded both the UK Hizb branch and Luton based Al Muhajiroun frequently gave lectures.

Apparently about 15 students armed with knives, machetes and hammers attacked Obanubi who was struck on the head with a hammer, and a knife pierced his heart. He died on the spot. His death was the first known instance of Muslim fanatics killing someone on British soil for "religious" reasons. The prosecutor in the case was the very interesting David "Murky" Waters QC (of which , much, much more here), now senior treasury counsel. Charges were withdrawn in the case of Rahman.

The court was told that in 2001 Rahman had given a shadowy interview to ITN reporter John Gilbert, in which he admitted recruiting hundreds of British Muslims to fight with the Taleban.

He told John Gilbert: "I can't wait for the day I meet British soldiers on the battlefield to see them run. I am happy to kill them."

It appears that after Kayham and the others were arrested having purchased some ammonium nitrate , Rahman was approached by 2 undercover police officers .One named as "Mohamed" , but not otherwise identified , he claimed he could supply Rahman with guns, together with silencers and 3,000 rounds of ammunition. Rahman is said to have offered to pay £1,000 per gun.

This direct aproach was the culmination of several (up to 8 meetings) Rahman had starting with an undercover MI5 agent called "Salim" on July 20, 2005 (2 weeks after 7/7 and the day before 21/7) . The meeting had concerned acquiring counterfeit banknotes, but Rahman had apparently told "Salim" that he wanted to buy a Kalashnikov rifle, guns and a silencer. There followed seven further meetings with undercover agent(s ?). On the second meeting, Rahman had asked for "hand grenades and rocket propelled grenades”, making hand gestures to describe the weapons. He spoke of two types of launchers. He said he would pay cash for the weapons and a provisional price of £1,000 (US$1,987) per machine gun was agreed.

Rahman was quoted a price of around £70,000 a Sam-7 missile and rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs) a sum which Rahman is said to have described as "no problem". Although no eveidence of him having had such funds or access to them was provided in court.

The Sting (slick MI5 sting. The Sun 1/5/07)

On 29th November 2005 Rahman met "Mohamed" at South Mimms services on the M25 and handed over some money it was at this stage that another undercover officer named as 'Iqbal', arrived and they drove to a cul-de-sac in nearby Welham Green, Hertfordshire.

There "Iqbal "showed a suitcase containing the guns, wrapped in black plastic bags inside a van to Rahman . Rahman told "Iqbal" to put the suitcase in the back of his vehicle and they would leave that location and find a better, safer place for the exchange.

"Iqbal" refused to do this. Rahman also stated that he wanted to see the ammunition, which had not been brought to the location for safety reasons.

"Iqbal" told him the ammunition was nearby. Rahman was unhappy and said it looked like a 'sting'. "Iqbal" returned to his vehicle and telephoned "Mohamed" and it was at this point that armed officers intervened and Rahman was arrested."

When Rahman's home in Manor Park, east London was searched police found literature relating to the 9/11 "martyrs" and details of guerrilla warfare and how to execute prisoners there was also a scanner which could pick up police radio messages, literature on guerilla warfare, and details of an electricity sub-station ("that could have caused significant black-outs across London if it were disabled.- D Torygraph) . Quite why the Scotsman on December 6th 2005 repeated an allegation ,"that he had a stash of weapons, including three Uzi sub-machineguns, 3,000 rounds of ammunition, three silencers and nine magazines." it is not possible to say. It will certainly not have been information supplied by the Metropilitan Police that is certain.

David Farrell, QC, prosecuting, said: "The terrorist purpose, which the defendant accepts by his plea but does not define, was to cause death, injury and damage for the religious and political purposes of al-Qaeda.

When initially interviewed by the Police Rahman claimed he was working for MI5, who had recruited him 10 years earlier (remember it was 1995 when he was charged with the Newham student murder and charges were withdrawn) , but then admitted that this was not true.. and this has nothing to do with being offered a lesser plea and sentence to those the "Crevice" defendents rceived.

Peter Clarke, the Sphincter of the Yard told reporters that “This is another example of where we have been able to take pre-emptive action to protect the public from the threat of terrorism. Whenever the evidence allows us to take such action, we will do so.”

When "pre-emptive" action means offering lethal weaponry for sale to people with allegedly terrorist connections, there are some members of the public who start to question the tactics whereby prosecutions are engineered.

Legal Note

Entrapment occurs when an agent of the state causes someone to commit an offence so that the latter should be prosecuted. Entrapment is not a substantive defence in English law.
