Transatlantic Bomb Shock Horror - Clarke of the Yard speaks ...

The Metropolitan Police have issued a Bulletin 0000000474 dated 21st August 2006 .

The Police have searched 69 houses, flats and business premises, vehicles and open spaces they have seized bomb making equipment (including hydrogen peroxide, electrical components, documents and other items), they have also found more than 400 computers, 200 mobile telephones and 8,000 items of removable storage media such as memory sticks, CDs and DVDs.

So far, from the computers alone, they have removed some 6,000 gigabytes of data.

The Police also have evidence from surveillance carried out before 10 August. Including important, indeed, highly significant video and audio recordings

Today they have charged 11 people. 8 have been charged with 2 offences relating to an alleged plot to manufacture and smuggle the component parts of improvised explosive devices onto aircraft and assemble and detonate them on board.

Those individuals have been charged with conspiracy to murder and the new offence of preparing acts of terrorism contrary to Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.

In addition, three have been charged with other offences under the Terrorism Act 2000. One has been charged with possession of articles useful to a person preparing an act of terrorism and two with failing to disclose information of material assistance in preventing an act of terrorism.

One woman has been released from custody without charge.

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Peter Clarke, head of the MPS Anti-Terrorist Branch, said:"This is the first time we have been able to release (official) information about the progress of the investigation, since the morning of the arrests on 10th August.

"The enormity of the alleged plot will be matched only by our determination to follow every lead and line of enquiry. I shall try to give you an idea of the size and complexity of this investigation.

"The meticulous investigation of all this material will take many months. All the data will be analysed.

"There will be thousands of forensic examinations and comparisons. Fingerprints, DNA, electronic data, handwriting comparisons, chemical analysis, and indeed the full range of forensic disciplines will be used." (...and lots of overtime Sarge ... luvvly jubbly)

In fact he is saying we will follow the same procedures, undertaken by the same people who gave you, blowing up Manchester United, the "Ricin" gang without the ricin, over 1000 "arrested" under Terrorism Acts and released without charge , the "accidental" shooting of the Forest Gate terrist (based on "solid intelligence", the public murder of de Menezes ..... plus of course the illegal impeding by the IPCC of the enquiry by the IPCC into that event for 5 days by Sir Ian Blair - he's the guy who cheered up the Attoney General by recording his telcon with him.

Meanwhile of course we will do absolutely fuck all about the "leaks", of half truths, truths, downright lies, mis-information fed indirectly to the public by the "senior Scotland Yard sources", "top officers", "security officials from Government Departments " etc., who seem to spend more time gabbing to the Press than doing their job.

Of course any such information that the public receive we can simply deny... such as the time of the train the 7/7 bombers caught which the public endlessly told you was incorrect as the train but didn't exist ... and which you finally did when the Home Secrtetary told you to.
