ziz, there is this info from x-rates.com. Note that the info starts in August 2001 ( 8o| ). Searching for earlier historical data brings up an error (you betcha!) (A error also is shown when searching here-> http://www.oanda.com/convert/fxhistory)
The rate shown from Aug 2001 to Jan 2003 is pegged at 1USD=0.310857 Iraqi Dinar (i.e. 1 Iraqi Dinar = $3.22USDollar). Now it is 1 Iraqi Dinar = $0.000837521
USDollar.
Significant dates are 18th March 2003 (when war on Iraq was declared) & also 29th June 2004 (something to do with the Coalition Provisional Authority & also this memo was issued)
